AVRouting models audio and video route discovery and selection. Apps describe and pick output destinations such as external speakers, displays, and AirPlay endpoints, including routing pickers and the active route configuration.
The 27 SDK adds one API and removes or deprecates nothing. The addition is preferredParticipantForNonMixableAudioRoutes, which selects a preferred participant when audio routes cannot be mixed.
